Linseed varnish OIL
Durable surfaces with LINSEED VARNISH OIL
Drying oil for polishing oil-treated wood and for oil impregnation of pressure-impregnated wood. Contains no solvent.
Packaged in 0.25-litre, 1-litre and 5-litre tin canisters and in 200 and 1000 liter drums.
LINSEED VARNISH OIL is our thickest and fastest drying oil. It is linseed oil from which the non-drying constituents have been removed by our unique refining method. It penetrates the substrate and dries quickly through a reaction with the oxygen in the air to form linoxin, a natural polymer with good adhesion. It is non-biodegradable, water-repellent and resistant to fats, petroleum products, salts and household acids, e.g. lemon, wine, vinegar.
At 20 °C and good ventilation, LINSEED VARNISH OIL dries within 6-24 hours.

With LINSEED VARNISH OIL you create beautiful and durable surfaces, especially on wood treated with PRIMER OIL or FURNITURE OIL. First impregnate the workpiece with either oil. Create the desired surface the following day – from silk matt to high gloss – by oil polishing with LINSEED VARNISH OIL. Choose the level of gloss by using a coarser or finer polishing cloth.
How to use LINSEED VARNISH OIL
Oil impregnate pressure impregnated wood with LINSEED VARNISH OIL rather than with PRIMER OIL. The pressure impregnation breaks up the cell structure of the wood and makes it so porous that it absorbs almost unlimited amounts of PRIMER OIL.
Both oils make wood rot-resistant by making it water-repellent – rot fungi cannot grow in dry wood. Furthermore, no organism can extract any nutrition from these oils.
